The Well that Never Runs Dry By the Scribe as discovered by Joann Davis
Praise for The Well that Never Runs Dry:
“. . .(The Well that Never Runs Dry) delivers another parable of immense power and transformation. Everyday we face challenges to our faith and hope. This book evokes the answers from an unlikely place: deep within our own hearts. Want to have your life changed? Read this book.” –James Redfield
“A mesmerizing fable, rich with parables. . . The Well That Never Runs Dry reminds us that no matter where we think we have to go to find meaningful Purpose, the roadmap is within each of us.” –Albert Gaulden
The story begins with Elizabeth, a midwife, who discovers the body of a small child drowned in the rain swollen river. Left alone to take care of her brother, David, after the shepherd, Joshua, has gone to resettle the victims of the flood. Elizabeth is plagued with the age old questions: Why do the righteous suffer? Why does God take Children before their time? Does a man soweth as he reapeth?
This was a great book, with parables and good lessons taught in a quick interesting read. The characters were well developed and it was written in a biblish telling. It was really good and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
The telling of Love, Gods plan and how we don’t understand it was beautifully woven into the pages in a precise easy going way, with a finality that you couldn’t ignore. I loved the filling your Lamp with Serenity, by thinking of sunshine each morning.
