So I live in this little town nobody has ever heard of, and I heard this story from my neighbors:
There was a couple that was going to have a baby, but before her do date, she went into labor and had the child at the hospital. The babe, a Premature baby, was so small, she could fit into the palm of your hand, the child’s head could fit inside of a tea cup. The doctor’s told the couple that the baby would die, and that they should just take it home for the end.
The couple did as they were told, knowing the baby would die, for she was too small to even nurse feed.
The mother and father knowing the baby would die, didn’t want to see it go, it was the uncle, that took blankets and put it in a small shoe box, he put the little girl into the box, and because it was the dead of winter, heated the cast iron wood stove up with coals, and put the baby in the box in the stove to stay warm. He fed her milk by dripping it into her mouth, and kept her warm inside the stove.
Do you want to know if the baby survived? My neighbor is that little baby, she grew up, married a good man and had a son, she is now in her 70s. She, even though the rough start, had a great wonderful life. Alive.
